Physicians Mutual 2016 TV


Physicians Mutual came to Intermark with a problem they needed help solving. While their customer satisfaction was around 97% their brand awareness, was very low.

So we crafted a set of commercials that would speak to their 55-70 yr old target market, who are worried about transitioning into retirement. We focused on the extremely positive word of mouth advocacy their customers routinely do.

After testing, unaided advertising awareness increased from 7% to 19%. Physicians Mutual moved up from 10th position to 3rd position in unaided advertising awareness (ahead of Mutual of Omaha, United Healthcare,
Aetna, AARP, Met Life, Cigna, State Farm and Nationwide) in their markets after only 3 months.
